Reputed institutes rely on merit based admission process. If you want to secure admission into a good private nursing college or any government nursing college, you must go through the merit based selection process.

 

Relevant entrance exams are conducted to facilitate merit based admission process. Let us take a close look at merit based admission process. Under this system, competitive exams/entrance exams are conducted by relevant authorities. Each year, thousands of candidates apply for B.Sc. Nursing admission. Relevant entrance exams are used to gauge and evaluate their academic proficiency.

 

Based on candidates’ performance in relevant entrance exam and/or board examination, a merit list is formed. Based on this merit list, B.Sc. Nursing seats are allotted among deserving candidates. However, admission process may vary slightly from one college to another. Some colleges are known to conduct direct admission process. Some colleges have certain seats reserved under the management quota. These seats are filled through donation-based admission process.

 

Fees

Tuition fees varies from one college to another. It depends upon factors such as – type of the college (government or private), scholarship status of the applicant, rating of the college etc. Government nursing colleges provide subsidized education to its students.
